Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce updates on Great Barrington Main Street construction

NO PARKING on Main Street from cottage to St. James/Taconic Avenue Wednesday or Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m., during the hours that paving will occur.
Week of Tuesday, Oct. 13 – Friday, Oct. 16, 2015

Maxymillian will not be working Monday, October 12, but will continue Tuesday, October 13 at 76:30 a.m. They will be setting curbing, finishing the raising of manhole and catch basin structures. Sidewalk work on the north side of the project will also continue. All businesses will have clear access during work hours.

Lane Construction will be laying the final layer of pavement on Wednesday and Thursday, from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.

NO PARKING on Main Street from cottage to St. James/Taconic Avenue Wednesday or Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. Any violators will be towed that owner expense. Expect one-way traffic at times during Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

lower leftLapinski will be pulling wires in various intersections for the connection of new road lighting and traffic signals.

Police officers will be present at all locations to direct traffic and ensure traffic flows smoothly in all directions with the exception of Wednesday and Thursday evenings this week. Work hours are between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
