The settlement worked out by the Environmental Protection Administration is not exactly popular with those who are trying to save our world from catastrophe.
The paving of Taconic Avenue from Castle Hill Avenue to the Railroad bridge at St. James Place will be done next spring. The Town will install speed monitoring signs and stop signs to reduce speeding.
NO PARKING on Main Street from cottage to St. James/Taconic Avenue Wednesday or Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m., during the hours that paving will occur.
