Protect public schools: Vote no on Question 2

In her letter to the editor, Rebecca Gold of Great Barrington writes: “If Question #2 passes, more charter schools will be allowed to open and millions of taxpayer money will be siphoned away from our public schools.”

To the Editor:

I’m writing to urge all voters in our community to vote No on Question #2, which proposes to lift the cap on charter schools in our state. If Question #2 passes, more charter schools will be allowed to open and millions of taxpayer money will be siphoned away from our public schools to fund them. As it is, charter schools in our state receive $450 million that would otherwise be allocated to our public schools.

Please do your part to help protect our public schools — and your tax dollars — by voting No on Question #2 and visit https://saveourpublicschoolsma.com/ to learn more.
