Will Curletti for Great Barrington Finance Committee

Decisions regarding our tax structure and our school district will be made over the next few years that will affect Great Barrington for generations. Thankfully, Will Curletti is running for Finance Committee.

To the Editor:

Our town and its finances are at a crossroads. Decisions regarding our tax structure and our school district will be made over the next few years that will affect Great Barrington for generations. Thankfully, Will Curletti is running for Finance Committee.

Will Curletti is, by far, the smartest person I know. Unlike many of the Great Barrington politicos, he doesn’t spend all his time telling you how smart he is. His humility and wit mask his more important traits. Will is amazingly insightful and empathetic. Personally, I have relied on Will Curletti for almost 30 years. Any time I have been in a tough spot, Will was there. Great Barrington is in a tough spot and I am glad Will is here.

Please vote for Eugene “Will” Curletti for Finance Committee on Tuesday, May 12.

When someone has held power for nearly half a century, it can become easy to confuse longevity with legitimacy, or position with immunity. But tenure is not a substitute for trust.
