Main Street Reconstruction schedule: Week of July 27 –31, 2015

Great Barrington — Maxymillian will continue work July 27th, at 6:30 a.m. They will be removing sidewalk and curbing on the east side of Main Street, on the north side of the project.

Maxymillian will be setting curbing and pouring sidewalk on the south side of the project from Bridge Street to St James Place.

All businesses will have clear access during work hours.

National Grid will continue prep work for new lighting.

Verizon will be doing conduit work from Elm Street moving north.

Lapinski will continue with traffic light conduit work on the north end of the project from Elm Street moving north.

Two-way traffic and access to businesses will be maintained at all times.  Police officers will be present at all locations to direct traffic and ensure traffic flows smoothly in all directions.

Work hours are between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. With the exception of completion of daily tasks and additional clean up of work areas, road conditions will return to normal after 3:00pm each day.
