Dr. Vinyl and Doc’s Auto Sales under new ownership, name
Pittsfield — Dr. Vinyl of Western MA and Doc’s Auto Sales of 567 Dalton Ave have recently changed ownership from Eileen Wallace and Doug Yonkouski to their son Dan Wallace. The business has been providing Berkshire County with service in truck accessories, vinyl signs, auto repairs, and used auto sales for over 20 years. The former owners retired in 2015 and Wallace decided to rename the business Doc’s Signs & Truck Outfitters and expand the sign shop and vehicle accessories center.
Doc’s Signs & Truck Outfitters specializes in fleet and commercial lettering; sale and installation of truck bed covers and liners, steps, ladder racks and boxes; truck caps, and more. Wallace, an employee of 18 years, has helped grow the business and will continue the wide range of services with exception of auto sales. “The used auto sales were successful with the three of us working together,” Wallace said, “but now I’m happy I can focus on accessories and installations, plus expand what the sign shop can offer. My passion is the design and vehicle wraps, the commercial lettering and other print work. The accessories and the signs businesses work well together, and I know my customers will appreciate saving time with my one-stop shop.”
