Following the screening, filmmaker Hilan Warshaw joins BBS artistic director and violinist Eugene Drucker for a conversation about Bach’s life, music, and the ideas behind the documentary.
“Berkshire Splendor: The Great Estates of the Berkshires" will offer a glimpse of the past, present, and future of the interiors and exteriors of the Berkshires’ mansions, the architects who designed and built them, and the families who lived in them.
Taking its name from Du Bois poem “Children of the Moon,” which appeared in Du Bois’ book “Darkwater” in 1920, the event is part of a larger three-day program that brings students together for an exploration of Du Bois’ life, work and legacy.
