Trump and Hegseth and their supporters will do everything in their power to hide the cost of war. But like it or not, this is our war. These are our leaders. It is our tax money that has bought the bombs.
I am thrilled with the newness of this play in Ghent, the excitement of discovery of new things I had not noticed the first time around. All of the participants should clap each other on the back and take personal credit for jobs well done in a play about jobbers who want things done right.
This is Jonathan Epstein's moment of glory, and he deserves every kudo he is getting from this writer right now. The work is risky and the result is wonderful.
