Nurses have worked hard to advance our profession through education, advocacy, accountability and leadership. This law would set back the entire profession, and health care as a whole.
After becoming a registered nurse Evelyn did private duty nursing for five years, then served as a Supervisor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Fairview Hospital for 36 years, retiring in 1980.
