To the Editor:
In America the peaceful transfer of power symbolizes America’s most precious promise and important values. Because our parents taught us that public service is part of the responsibility of citizenship, my siblings and I followed their example all the way to the White House. My sister, Donna, served in the Obama Administration for the past eight years and therefore was invited to bring her immediate family to meet the President in the Oval Office this month.
What an honor.
