Great Barrington — In anticipation of the Democratic primary on September 8, the three Democratic candidates for the state Senate seat being vacated by Benjamin Downing — Adam Hinds, Rinaldo Del Gallo, and Andrea Harrington — will face off in Great Barrington on Monday, August 29, 2016, at 5:30.
Ballotboxtees.com, The Berkshire Edge, The Berkshire Record, and the Great Barrington Democratic Town Committee are sponsoring this fast-paced, quick-response forum with the 1st District Democratic Candidates. The forum will be held at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, 14 Castle Street.
The event will be moderated by David Scribner (The Berkshire Edge), and Terry Cowgill (The Berkshire Record). State Representative William “Smitty” Pignatelli will introduce the candidates and the moderators. Local organizations are being asked to submit questions for the candidates. This event is free and open to the public. There will be an opportunity to meet the candidates after the forum at the adjacent Castle Street Cafe, with cash bar and complimentary hors d’oeuvre.
The forum will be taped by CTSB (Community Television for the Southern Berkshires) for broadcast on their public access cable channel.
