In his letter to the editor, Rinaldo Del Gallo writes: "My opponents are progressive, but not as progressive as I am. They do not claim to want to follow the Nordic Model that is the economic and social policies of the Nordic countries where homelessness and poverty is almost unknown."
The issue is not if drug and alcohol abuse constitute a legal defense; the issue is that there is a statistically significant relationship between addiction and crime.
