Trump was elected because people relied on the promises he made, but curbing inflation; lowering the high costs of food, gas, and electricity; improving access to healthcare; and restoring affordability have basically been ignored.
He was elected to the Great Barrington Planning Board, Finance Committee and School Committee in the 50’s and 60’s. He was elected Commander of the Adams-Budz Post in 1951 and Berkshire County 9th District VFW Commander in 1955.
Betty passed on to her daughters her love of language (she had studied Latin for seven years and instilled the importance of the properly spoken word as a family value) and theater as well as her commitment to exercise and healthy eating.
