"When I look at the Berkshires at large, I see a ton of potential," said Berkshire Boulders co-owner Nick Friedman. "There are certain forms of outdoor recreation in the Berkshires that remain underrepresented, and there's a real opportunity on the table to bring better representation to these sports."
A word of commendation for the people who drive the snow plows, both the private snow-plow people and the folks who work for the towns: They work without stopping, clearing the roads for our doctors and first responders and anyone else who has to get to work.
During the Gilded Age, the equipage, the livery and the horses as well as the skill in driving were sources of great pride. A local newspaper even gave a whole column for the length of the page to recounting the teams and mounts of local cottagers.
