Marie A. Rigodanzo, 91, of Housatonic

Marie worked for fifteen years in the shipping/receiving department at the Marian Fathers in Stockbridge before retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of Corpus Christi Church in Housatonic.

Marie A. Rigodanzo, 91 of Housatonic died Tuesday March 3, 2015 at Fairview Commons Nursing and Rehab Center in Great Barrington.

Marie was born in Stockbridge on October 18, 1923, the daughter of Wallace and Mary (Begey) Case. She was educated in Housatonic Schools. Marie worked for fifteen years in the shipping/receiving department at the Marian Fathers in Stockbridge before retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of Corpus Christi Church in Housatonic.

Marie’s husband Oreste “Rusty” Rigodanzo predeceased her on August 29, 1983. Marie is survived by one son, John W. Rigodanzo of Richardson, Texas; one brother, William Case of Davenport, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen Rigodanzo and two granddaughters, Karen and Anna Rigodanzo. Marie is also survived by a sister-in-law, Nina Rigodanzo, three nephews, William Case, Mike Rigodanzo and Alex Rigodanzo, and a niece, Terese Rigodanzo.  In addition to her husband Oreste “Rusty” Rigodanzo, Marie was predeceased by son Tommy who died in 1966.

Funeral services for Marie A. Rigodanzo who died March 3, will be held on Monday, March 9 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Corpus Christi Church, Housatonic, with the Reverend William P. Murphy pastor, officiating. Burial will be at a later date in St. Bridget’s Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at a calling hour preceding the funeral from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington, Mass. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Marie’s memory may be made to Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Corpus Christi Church, Housatonic in care of the funeral home at 33 South Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230. A graveside service for Stephen Joseph Tynan will be held on Thursday, March 19, at 10 a.m. in Saint Peter’s Cemetery, with Reverend William P. Murphy, pastor, officiating. Family will receive friends at a calling hour from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Candace Gerard will be held on Friday March 20, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home, with Reverend William P. Murphy officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 20, from 9 to 10 a.m.

Thomas B. Finn Jr., 75, of Pembroke, Mass.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor on March 28 at Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, Mass.
