Berkshire United Way has announced that, after serving 10 years as president and CEO of the organization, Kristine Hazzard has resigned with an intended departure date of Sunday, June 30, 2019.
The proceeds from the added performance will be donated to the One America Appeal to support those affected by the devastation of hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
The Four Freedoms Coalition and Berkshire Community College will present a day of free, nonpartisan advocacy trainings on Saturday, April 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at BCC.
The Four Freedoms march and rally has garnered the support of over 80 community partners and more than 20 elected officials such as Massachusetts senators Edward Markey and Elizabeth Warren, Pittsfield Mayor Linda Tyer and North Adams Mayor Richard Alcombright.
