Last year's children’s production, Seussical, was a heart-warming and widely successful production, featuring more than 100 talented children and adults from the community. Berkshire Theatre Group's 10th Annual Children's Theatre Production will be directed by Travis G. Daly, with music direction by Mark Gionfriddo.

The Inequity Adjusted Human Development Index measures the extent to which human development is thwarted by inequitable distribution of wealth, health services and education. Evidently we do exceptionally well thwarting our citizens.
Karen Smith is packing up 100 solar powered lights, “so people don’t have to buy kerosene every night, which is very expensive." And much of what she is bringing, Smith says, comes from the “incredible generosity” of Berkshire locals and businesses. Southern Berkshire Volunteer Ambulance, Fairview Hospital have donated medical supplies, and dentist Bob Edwards at Delair, Edwards & Krol, donated dental supplies.
