Nolan McMillan, 72, of Otis

He worked as a mechanic for Boeing Aircraft, Derby Oil Refinery and for Coastal Power Plant in Connecticut, retiring from there in 2002.

Nolan McMillan, 72, of Otis, died Saturday morning (August 5) at Fairview Commons Nursing Home in Great Barrington.

Mr. McMillan was born in Winfield, Kansas, on April 21, 1945, the son of Claude and Thelma White McMillan. He was born and raised in Kansas and, on May 22, 1976, he married the former Lynda Lippman. They moved to Otis in 1989. He worked as a mechanic for Boeing Aircraft, Derby Oil Refinery and for Coastal Power Plant in Connecticut, retiring from there in 2002. He loved fishing and working on cars.

Mr. McMillan is survived by his wife, Lynda, of Otis; one son: Paul McMillan of Peabody; four daughters: Shanon Albee of Otis, Nicole McMillan of New Hampshire, Misty Weiss of Wichita, Kansas, and Meredith Carty of Lee; six grandchildren: Tessa Albee, Autumn Weiss, Makenna Albee, Brennan McMillan, Madelyn McMillan and Liam Carty.

A graveside service for Nolan McMillan will be held Friday, Aug. 11, at 1 p.m. at the Otis Cemetery in the town of Otis. Friends wishing may make donations in his memory to the Epilepsy Foundation in c/o the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238. A graveside service for Stephen Joseph Tynan will be held on Thursday, March 19, at 10 a.m. in Saint Peter’s Cemetery, with Reverend William P. Murphy, pastor, officiating. Family will receive friends at a calling hour from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Candace Gerard will be held on Friday March 20, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home, with Reverend William P. Murphy officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 20, from 9 to 10 a.m.

Thomas B. Finn Jr., 75, of Pembroke, Mass.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor on March 28 at Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, Mass.
