Michelle Barrier Nightt, 51, of Brockton, formerly of Sheffield

She will be remembered by friends and family for her courage, loyalty and enthusiasm.

Michelle Barrier Nightt of Brockton, formerly of Sheffield,  passed away July 3, 2020, peacefully at home with her son by her side. Born in 1969, She will be remembered by friends and family for her courage, loyalty and enthusiasm.

She is survived by her son, Kassel Nightt; her mother, Marion Martin; her father, Michael Barrier and his wife, Suzie; her sister, Darlene Balestro (Kris); her brother, Jason Smith (Lara); and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

At Michelle’s request, no services will be held.

Candace Gerard, 80, formerly of Great Barrington

Funeral services for Candace Gerard will be held on Friday March 20, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home, with Reverend William P. Murphy officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 20, from 9 to 10 a.m.

Thomas B. Finn Jr., 75, of Pembroke, Mass.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor on March 28 at Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, Mass.

Laurie Platt Winfrey Shnayerson, 83, of Hillsdale, N.Y.

The family plans a private memorial and asks that donations in lieu of flowers be made to the Roeliff Jansen Community Library.
