Lorraine Simonson, 98 a resident of 235 Walker Street Lenox for the last eleven years died peacefully on June 6, 2017 with her loving family at her side. She was born in Newark, N.J. and grew up in New York City. Lorraine is survived by two daughters, Gail Weiss of Taconic, Conn., and Joan Ury of Great Barrington, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday June 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery in Great Barrington with Rabbi Neil Hirsch officiating. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Lorraine’s memory may be made to the Literacy Network of Southern Berkshire in care of the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington MA 01230.
