Come dance every 4th Saturday – September to May – to live music in a fun and welcoming environment. All dances are taught; bring a friend or come alone. The beginners’ lesson starts at 6:30; dancing from 7-10PM. All dances are taught. Refreshments at the break. Second dance is free (ask for a ticket). Flexible, soft-soled shoes are recommended. Students: $8-10, adults $12-20, families $35.

This month we are thrilled to have Kingfisher for our band. Ceclia Vacanti (fiddle) and Jeff Kaufman (piano, mandolin, drums, synths) are a versatile band mixing it up with traditional and modern contra dance music. Dance caller Liz Nelson is known for her clear and friendly teaching style. “Absolutely ANYONE can contra dance. The steps are very accessible . . . All you really need is a willingness to try something new, a good sense of humor, and a water bottle…”
