For Women’s History Month

March 14 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Free

The Cornwall Library is delighted to celebrate Women’s History Month by presenting Letty Cottin Pogrebin, the American feminist, writer, journalist, and social activist who was one of the founding editors of Ms. Magazine. She is now a key figure in second-wave feminism and Jewish activism, and has published more than a dozen books, including memoirs, nonfiction, and novels.

Pogrebin will be interviewed by Anne Kreamer, a journalist and author who specializes in business, work/life balance, culture, and women’s issues. Her career has included positions as varied as director of development for CBS Educational and Professional Publishing, and serving on the board of trustees for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.

Pogrebin and Kreamer plan a wide-ranging conversation, covering subjects such as an overview of feminism now and at earlier stages, the effect of Project 2025 on women’s issues, and the problems women still have in transitioning from advanced graduate school programs into the executive suite.

After the interview, there will be a Q & A session with the audience. Please register on the library website at the URL given below.
