The Friends of the Bushnell-Sage Library invite the public to a free Author Talk on Sunday, March 15 at 2:30pm. Ann-Elizabeth Barnes will talk about the life of slave, then former slave, Elizabeth”Mumbet” Freeman and her impact on slavery in MA. Barnes wrote the book “Free Woman on God’s Earth” based on Freeman’s life in Sheffield during colonial times. This is the 3rd presentation in the 250th Anniversary of the Revolution series sponsored by the Friends of the Bushnell-Sage Library.

All talks are held at the Bushnell-Sage Library, 48 Main St, Sheffield, MA. All are welcome.
