Sharon Gregory is the former chair of the Great Barrington Finance Committee. For 10 years she was Vice President of Corporate Development and Planning for Iredale Mineral Cosmetics. She is also an artist, and a classical and jazz pianist.
The petition provided a shortened version asking for help to transfer private ownership of Housatonic WaterWorks (HWW) in the township of Housatonic to the Town of Great Barrington, under which Housatonic is governed.
A vision should address the necessary integration of our two village centers (Great Barrington and Housatonic), the beautification and improved use of a revitalized town center, the reuse of town properties, housing needs, and the creation of an economic development template that would attract community members and investors.
