Berkshire County — Paul Menard, 64, of Windsor, Mass., has been charged with murdering his sister Monique Menard, 62, also of Windsor.
According to the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office, Paul Menard was arraigned for the charge of Murder in the First Degree on Friday, November 1, at the Central Berkshire District Court. He is being held without the right to bail, without prejudice.
According to a press release issued by Berkshire District Attorney’s Office Chief of Operations Julia Sabourin, on Thursday, October 31, Paul Menard walked into the State Police Barracks in Cheshire at 1:45 p.m. and reported that he shot and killed his sister at his place of residence.
State Police officers responded to the scene and found Monique Menard lying face down outside of her residence, near her car.
Evidence collected at the scene indicated that she was shot three times.
Paul Menard said that he used two different firearms in the killing.
