William R. Quick, 46, of Sheffield

A celebration of William's life will be held at a later date.

William R. Quick, 46, of Sheffield, died on Thursday, February 13, 2025. He was born in Stamford, Conn., on August 13, 1978, the son of the late William G. Quick and Linda Heise Hagenkotter.

William was a graduate of Wilton High School and enjoyed snowboarding and playing golf, amongst many hobbies.

He is survived by his three children, William Jr., Benjamin, and Lilly of Oslo, Norway; his mother Linda and stepfather Warren Hagenkotter; his brother Russell Quick of Niantic, Conn.; his stepbrother Erick Hagenkotter of Shelton, Conn.; his stepsisters, Jennifer Hagenkotter of Norwalk, Conn., and Kathleen Charland of Milford, Conn.; Uncle Raymond Quick of Niantic, Conn.; and his cousins, Terrie, Kim, Kay, Karolyn, Karen, and Kristen. He was predeceased by his father William Guy Quick.

Friends and family are welcome to gather on Friday, March 21, at 1 p.m., at the Monterey UCC Church, for a memorial. Afterwards, a reception will be held at the Monterey Community Center, from about 2 to 4 p.m., to spend some time together.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Jamieson residence on March 30, from 1 to 5 p.m.

Monica Ruth Pattangall, 80, of Lenox

A memorial service will be held in the spring, with a date to be determined. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery.
