William “Harpo” Zuorsky, 91, of Housatonic

After high school, Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy where he served in Korea and Vietnam.

William “Harpo” Zuorsky, 91, formerly of Housatonic, died Thursday August 4, 2022 at Fairview Commons in Great Barrington.

Bill was born on November 27, 1930 in Pittsfield, son of William and Helen (Kruczkowski) Zuorsky. He was a graduate of Pittsfield High School class of 1949. After high school, Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy where he served in Korea and Vietnam. He was a USS Boxer while in Korea from 1950 to 1953 and from 1967 to 1969 served in the Pacific in Vietnam with the U.S. Navy Seabees Mobile Construction Battalion 10 (MCB 10) and retired MCB 40 out of Gulfport MS. Bill was a member of the James A. Modolo VFW Post 8348 and the Adams Budz VFW Post 8183.

Bill’s wife Helen (Tarnawa) Zuorsky whom he married on November 10, 1951 predeceased him on February 2, 2010. Bill is survived by his son William Chapin of Boston, Ga.; his daughter Christina Glass of Housatonic; sister Evelyn Bandurski of Ft. Myers, Fla.; and two grandsons, Devin Glass and William W. Chapin.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors for William Zuorsky will be held on Saturday August 13 at 10 a.m. in St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Housatonic officiated by Reverend William P. Murphy. Condolences may be made through the website of Birches Roy Funeral Services.

Roberta A. ‘Bobbie’ Nussbaum, 90, of Egremont

A funeral service for Roberta 'Bobbie' Nussbaum will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, conducted by Rabbi Barbara Cohen. Burial will follow at Ahavath Sholom Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Francis Thomas Duke Jr., 82, of Lenox

The funeral for Mr. Francis T. Duke will be held on Friday, May 16, at 11 a.m., at Trinity Church in Lenox, with Rev. Michael Tuck officiating. Burial will be private in Corashire Cemetery in Monterey. There will be no calling hours.
