William F. Harvey, 53, of Rochester, N.Y., formerly of Great Barrington, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 20, 2015.

Rochester, N.Y. — William F. Harvey, 53, of Rochester, N.Y., formerly of Great Barrington, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 20, 2015.

He was much loved.

He is survived by his parents, Lee and Elizabeth Harvey of West Stockbridge, Mass.; sisters, Leigh A. Harvey of West Stockbridge, and Tamara J. Harvey of Great Barrington, Mass.; brother, Michael V. Harvey of Rochester, N.Y.; a nephew and three nieces, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Bill was an employee of Panorama Detailing.

Family will receive friends Monday, June 29th from 2-4 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., in Rochester, N.Y., where a Memorial Service will immediately follow at 4 p.m. Interment will be private.

Calling hours will be Sunday, Nov. 23, from 2 to 4 p.m., and on Monday, Nov. 24, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. Johanna Janssen, 86, longtime Great Barrington resident

Johanna’s hobbies—entertaining; playing golf, bridge, and canasta; and attending concerts at Tanglewood—made for a very happy life.
