William (Bill) White, 73, of Sheffield

There will be no service per Bill's wishes. There will be a memorial service in the spring.

William (Bill) White, born November 8, 1949 to the late Gloria Nicholson White and Francis White, died on January 3, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Bill was a lifelong resident of Sheffield and a proud veteran of the Vietnam war. After returning home, he worked for RayReel construction. He then began work as a swimming pool tech for Frank and Bea Zamperini in Sheffield, to whom he became like family. After their retirement, Bill started working for South County Pool Service in Sheffield, where he remained employed for the last 28 years. Bill was not only an employee but part of the family. Bill was a volunteer fireman for many years in Sheffield. In his spare time, he enjoyed coin collecting— a hobby that he started as a kid. He was talented in everything from wood working to metal work and building model airplanes.

Bill is survived by his brother Brian White, his sister Susan White Regan  and her two children Peter Ragan Jr. and Tara Regan Adams. Bill was predeceased by his brothers Steve White (Animal) and John White. He also leaves his boss and best friend Chub Zucco and wife Jamie, along with their children. There will be no service, per his wishes. There will be a memorial service in the spring.

A funeral service for Roberta 'Bobbie' Nussbaum will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, conducted by Rabbi Barbara Cohen. Burial will follow at Ahavath Sholom Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
