Why has President Donald Trump not called Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to express his sympathies?

This man’s silence speaks for itself, just as it did after the violence and his silence thereafter on January 6, 2021, and subsequent pardons of the January 6 perpetrators.

To the editor:

Why has the president of the United States not yet called Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to express his sympathies on the assassination and violence perpetrated against representatives from Minnesota?

To me, this should be the front page of both The New York Times and Minnesota Star Tribune.

This man’s silence speaks for itself, just as it did after the violence and his silence thereafter on January 6, 2021, and subsequent pardons of the January 6 perpetrators. This man is both morally and ethically unfit for elected office.
