Here’s what we have for you this week in The Edge Real Estate section:

  • Property of the Week – Jeff Wilkinson of Stone House Properties offers the perfect lake house to de-stress.
  • Transformations – Designer Jess Cooney explores the central problem of designing kids’ spaces: how to design both for now and for when they grow older.
  • Weekly real estate transactions for Berkshire County, Northern Litchfield County and Columbia County.
  • Market Perspective – The number of sales and the dollar volume transacted are both down in 2023.
  • The Self-Taught Gardener – Plants that last just for the season often sound like a poor investment, but they allow a gardener to play with color, form and seasonality with minimal outlay.
  • The Lazy Berkshire Gardener – The last two weeks of May, I’m thinking about planting decorative containers of annuals. Like shopping for new clothes, I want to satisfy the basics but also want to try a new texture or color combination.
