Vote for Leigh Davis for state representative on Sept. 3

As citizens, we will never agree with our leaders on every issue. But with Leigh, we know that she will listen carefully, consider all sides of an issue, and then lead with good judgment based on the facts.

To the editor:

Kamala Harris, vice president and Democratic nominee for president of the United States, recently visited little ol’ Berkshire County. Thank you Berkshires for a wonderful Berkshires greeting! It was exhilarating. She is inspiring. She is a leader with steely strength and determination, while infused with personal warmth and caring, and a great sense of humor.

We need her more than ever.

But like a good baseball team, we need to develop a strong bench. We need to facilitate, encourage, and support new leaders at all levels of local and state government.

Leigh Davis, a candidate for state representative in the 3rd Berkshire District, is such a person. She is smart, energetic, caring, and hard working.

As citizens, we will never agree with our leaders on every issue. But with Leigh, we know that she will listen carefully, consider all sides of an issue, and then lead with good judgment based on the facts. Leigh will be a true public servant, working to improve our lives and get things done. She is a doer.

To everyone in the 3rd Berkshire District, on September 3, vote for Leigh Davis for state representative. You will be happy you did.
