Vicious Kavanaugh blames and shames

Brett Kavanaugh showed himself to still be who he always was: an entitled bratty frat boy who shouts at others and pities himself.

To the editor:

Brett Kavanaugh is not Supreme Court material. What was clear during his earlier hearings, back when the fix was in, is that he’s sneaky, evasive and a habitual liar.

Yesterday we learned that “boof” means fart (it does not), that “Renate Alumnia” is a sincere fan club of boys for a “great gal” (it’s not, and the Alumna have sexist song lyrics to prove it), and that “Devil’s Triangle” is a drinking game (it’s not — it’s a three-way with two guys and a girl). So those are three big lies from our nominee right there.

Brett Kavanaugh showed himself to still be who he always was: an entitled bratty frat boy who shouts at others and pities himself. The anger and aggression that his roommates and friends have all written about was on full display.

Hard to imagine how the Senate thinks this is one of the nine wisest jurists in the land. He’s a hypocrite and a jerk, and it almost doesn’t matter anymore what the FBI is prohibited from investigating since we can see for ourselves: This man is a vicious politician and partisan who easily blames and shames like his boss, Donald Trump.

Brett Kavanaugh just sprayed napalm on the dumpster fire known as Washington. The fact that Republicans are high-fiving his outrageous, nasty performance tells you how little they care about justice, women or the High Court.

One month till midterms, folks.

With the Trump administration’s stop-work order on USAID, the United States has moved backwards, with possibly decades of loss

The administration’s actions are cruel and counterproductive. We can only hope that it is not too late to regain much of what has already been lost.
