Valerie Eng, 71, of North Adams

Burial will be private.

Valerie Eng, of North Adams, passed away peacefully on October 5 at Kimball Farms in Lenox after a brief illness. She was born in Pittsfield on June 17, 1953, to the late Gunnar and Mary Eng.

Valerie was a graduate of the class of 1971 in Lenox. She worked for many years at the Friendly’s in Pittsfield.

Valerie is survived by her sister Cristena Roberts, her nephew Stephen Roberts (Valerie), her niece Julie Duffin (Matthew), her good friends Victor and Diane Stringer, and her good friend Kenny. She was predeceased by her triplet sisters, Mary Scott, Martha Potash, and Marjorie Lindsey.

Valerie’s family would like to thank the staff at Kimball Farms for their kindness and compassion during Valerie’s time there.

John H. Pirzl, 67, of Dalton

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 10 a.m., at St. Ann Church with Monsignor John Bonzagni officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Pittsfield.
