Alford — Trinity R. Raifstanger, 39, Green River Valley Road, Alford, Mass., peacefully entered heaven’s gates early Wednesday morning, November 5, 2014. Trinity fought a courageous one-and-a-half year battle with melanoma cancer while displaying tremendous grace, courage and inspiration.

Born on March 12, 1975 in Pittsfield, Mass., she was the daughter of James F. Finn and Paula J. (Benham) McLean. Trinity was crowned the 1992 Pittsfield Winter Carnival Queen. She was a 1993 graduate of Taconic High School. Trinity graduated from the Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics, Albany, N.Y., in 1998 and The International Dermal Institute, Los Angeles, Calif., in 2000. She practiced esthetics locally including The Clip Shop, Cranwell Resort Spa & Golf Club and Canyon Ranch of the Berkshires until 2010. Since 2010, Trinity worked alongside her husband at the family business, Kwik Print, Inc. in Great Barrington.
Trinity was a dedicated wife and loving mother. She married her husband, John T. Raifstanger III on May 12, 2001 at the First Congregational Church in Stockbridge. Together they have three beautiful children, Olivia Rose, 12, Camden Richard, 9, and Avery Larkin, 8.
Trinity was an outstanding beauty inside and out, who touched the lives of everyone she knew. She leaves a legacy of awareness, inspiration and hope. Her footprint on this earth will be everlasting.
Along with her husband John and their children Olivia, Camden and Avery, Trinity is survived by her father James Finn and his companion Nancy Rowett of Springfield, Mass., her mother Paula McLean of Pittsfield, Mass., stepfather John McLean of Pittsfield, Mass., brother James Finn of Maryland, a stepbrother Shane McLean of Florida, a stepsister Tonya McLean of Clifton Park, N.Y., and her maternal grandmother Rosaline Benham of Dalton, Mass. She also leaves her father- and mother-in-law, John T. and Cheryl Raifstanger, her grandmother-in-law Eunice Raifstanger, brother-in-law Jay Raifstanger and his wife Becky, her sister-in-law Jody Cross and her husband Jeff as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and cherished friends.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church on Main Street, Great Barrington conducted by Rev. William P. Murphy, pastor. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Great Barrington.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington.
