Thomas F. Tringali, of Housatonic

After years of living with complications of multiple sclerosis, Thomas F. Tringali, of Housatonic, died peacefully at Fairview Hospital on March 15, with his wife Margaret Magdalenski Tringali at his side.

Tom will be remembered for his love of family and friends. Retiring to Housatonic five years ago from Rye Brook, New York, he came to enjoy riding his wheelchair to the post office and around the neighborhood. Tom is survived by his wife Margaret, sister Rosemarie Latella and companion Helene Schiavello, sister Pamela Tringali and husband Bruce Cummings, brother Peter Tringali, sister-in-law Sandra Pozzetta, in-laws Larry and Susan Magdalenski, and beloved nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

There will be no memorial service at this time. In lieu of a memorial donation in Tom’s honor, please be kind and considerate to those in wheelchairs, or using a cane or walker — hold a door, offer a hand. Condolences may be made through birchesroyfuneralservices.com.

Funeral Mass for Robert F. "Bob" Keefner will be held on Friday, May 23, at 10 a.m., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Saint Peter’s Church in Great Barrington with Reverend William P. Murphy Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
