Great Barrington — The Baldwin Building, built in 1900 and located on 309 Main Street, has been put up for sale.
According to the Zillow real estate website, the building is being sold by William Pitt Sotheby’s Realty for $1.3 million. The town’s property database lists the building’s owner as Jean Andrews of Great Barrington, who purchased the building from Thomas Andrews in 2004.
The current property assessment for the building, according to the town’s property database, is $545,700 for building value and $151,700 for its land value of 0.140 acres, for a total value of $697,400.
The building itself contains six units and currently houses Matrushka Toys and Gifts, ski-related retailer Black Diamond Tuning Center, and an office of attorney Cain Hibbard & Myers PC.
