Terry L. Hadsell, 64, of Ashley Falls

A Celebration of Life for Terry L. Hadsell will be held on Saturday, Dec. 27, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home.

Terry L. Hadsell, 64, of Ashley Falls, died Thursday, December 11, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Albany, N.Y., on May 16, 1961, daughter of the late Winfred and Joan (White) Vickery.

Terry worked for years at Country Curtains, as a book keeper for Phoenix Rising, and in home healthcare for Porchlight. She was a member of the Couch Pipa VFW Auxiliary Post 6851. She loved sewing, gardening, cooking, animals, swimming in her pool, and facetiming with her daughter and grandchild in Tennessee.

Terry is survived by her husband Weaver Hadsell; her three daughters, Evelynn, Desire, and Heather; her sisters-in-law, Robin Vickery and Tracy Clark; her brother-in-law Pete Hadsell; her seven grandchildren, Dustin, Devon, Cassandra, J.T., Ethan, Hazel, and Damon; and several nieces and nephews to whom she was like a second mother, Brandy, Douglas, Lorie, Jen, Kristopher, and Kelly. In addition to her parents, Terry was predeceased by her brother David Vickery.

A Celebration of Life for Terry L. Hadsell will be held on Saturday, December 27, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Terry’s memory may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be made through the funeral home’s website.
