Term limits for Congress

Our elected officials are not committed to the constituents they represent nor to the overall well-being of the entire country.

To the editor:

The lack of term limits for Congress, both representatives and senators, has led to what I consider the imperial Congress. They are devoted to themselves and to continually getting re-elected over and over again. Our elected officials are not committed to the constituents they represent nor to the overall well-being of the entire country. The fact that lobbyists have so much control over elected officials Is certainly because those in government maintain their revolving door status. Lobbyists enjoy ongoing cronyism as a result.
Time for the public to demand term limits for Congress.
