After the birth of her first child, she joined her husband in managing Peerless Tree Service. She was the office manager at Peerless and also coordinated all pest control and turf management crews for the company.
Mr. Gacek worked both sides of retail and wholesale lumber and millwork sales. He was involved in both the planning and implementation of merchandising programs with many hours of hands-on display work.
In addition to serving the Haupt Tree Company with an acute mind for business, Susan was also dedicated to the tree industry and her community as a whole.
She loved her children and husband, above all, and was an avid supporter of autism awareness and of the Special Olympics, in which her son participates yearly.
It’s a tricky business, the building issue, but it’s an opportunity, ultimately, to create the space that would move programming forward. The structure of this building is a real barrier to innovation.
