There is a nice sense of character development in every one of the players and their use of the language, sometimes difficult to grasp at a single hearing, never loses the audience but keeps attention.
This is a Macbeth for those who know the play well enough to know what's missing, but not for those who know it so well that excisions that abound will destroy the work.
Tackling this play, including editing it cleanly, is an achievement, one that director Tina Packer has undertaken nobly and completed successfully. I would not have missed this for anything.
