According to BNRC president Tad Ames, the High Road will aim to conserve and connect unprotected lands that have important ecological, agricultural, scenic and recreational attributes.
Berkshire Natural Resources Council has launched a $5 million capital campaign to buy up and conserve more “missing pieces” to create trails that will link town and village centers.
