In his letter to the editor Stewart Eedelstein writes: “For three decades, Polly's extensive knowledge of the town and its people was a valuable resource for authors, historians, and inquisitive citizens.”
As issues of accessibility and appropriate preservation of a historic building were raised, the library's staff and board knew that a full upgrade was in order.
