Two of the most admired piano trios in the repertoire—one intense and biting, the other expansive and lyrical—anchor Sunday’s chamber music program at Saint James Place.
The program will also honor Du Bois biographer David Levering Lewis, who will receive the town’s first W. E. B. Du Bois Legacy Award honoring recipients for “embodying and preserving W. E. B. Du Bois’ legacy as a scholar and activist for freedom.”
The talk “Navigating Climate Change in Uncertain Times” will draw on literature, history, philosophy, environmental studies, politics and economics to situate climate change as an urgent personal and political call to action.
