She taught many women to sew through the adult education program at Monument Mountain Regional High School.

Ofilia Bleau, 85, of Housatonic

She worked for many years at the former Great Barrington Healthcare as a supervisor in the dietary department.

Anne Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Ross, 92, of Great Barrington

Betty was an exceptional nurse because she held herself and others to the highest standards, plus she truly cared about the people she served.

Rosemary Evelyn Belden, 85, of Durham, N.C., native of Stockbridge

Rosemary worked for many years as a Registered Nurse for the State of Massachusetts.

Owen D. ‘Corky’ Shultis, 66, of Egremont

Owen worked for 43 years at Simon’s Rock College where he was the Maintenance Supervisor.

Josephine Mallory, 94, formerly of Great Barrington

She worked as a switchboard operator for Wheeler and Taylor, then for the General Electric's drafting department in Pittsfield, the E.M. Ryder Jewelry Store in Great Barrington, and then was the assistant town clerk for the town of Great Barrington for 11 years.

Jacqueline Storti, 94, of Great Barrington

She then joined the local Sears catalog store in Great Barrington and worked her way up to manager; she was one of the first female managers for Sears before retiring at age 61.

Edward Morehouse Sr., 88, of Great Barrington, former GB selectman

Ed loved Great Barrington and was very active in the civic life of the community. In 1982 he was elected to the board of selectmen and remained a selectman until 2002.

Mary Ann (Larkin) Sullivan, 82, of Newport, Rhode Island, formerly of Great Barrington

She was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, organizer and party planner. If there was a committee, Mary Ann was on it.

Leno Collari, 91, of Great Barrington

Leno worked as a storekeeper for the highway department for the state of Massachusetts for over 40 years.

Florence Tisserand of Great Barrington

She was a communicant of St. Peter’s Church and enjoyed crafts and watercolor painting at Vera Thybergh’s art classes at the local senior center.

Patricia New, 66, of Springfield, valedictorian at Monument Mountain in 1969

Her career included being a piano teacher; the organist and choir director at St. Peter’s Church, Great Barrington; mathematics and computer teacher at Berkshire Country Day School; computer programmer at Geary Corporation and more.

Thomas Shultis Sr., 70, of Great Barrington

Tom joined his father-in-law, Alfred Beligni, and brother-in-law Mike Beligni at B+S Tire Company in Great Barrington. He later became sole proprietor of the company until his retirement in 2013.
