Active in local sports, she coached youth soccer for 10 years and enjoyed following both her own children’s and her former players’ achievements. She loved to live the life lessons that sports teach.
Peter was a member and an Honor Guard member of the Adams-Budz Post 8183, a member of the Murphy-Leary American Legion Housatonic Post, and was also very involved in the Patriots’ Pen Project and Veterans in the Classroom, both through the VFW. Peter was also part of the Funeral Detail for the VFW and was the Guidon Bearer.
While at Monument Mountain Regional High School, Garrett played both varsity football and baseball. Garrett also enjoyed working on his truck and fishing and golfing with his brother Kevin. He loved life, being with friends and family and always had a smile on his face.
