A statue of W.E.B. DuBois will be unveiled in July on the steps of the Mason Library in Great Barrington. My visit to another outdoor installation shows what public art can accomplish.
'Making Waves' will feature work created by 13 Community Access to the Arts artists from Berkshire County Arc, Berkshire Family and Individual Resources, and Columbia County Arc.
The Berkshire Museum will be open to visitors Tuesday, Jan. 15, and Wednesday, Jan. 16, in light of the cancellation of a planned closing due to the federal government shutdown delaying the arrival of the “Leonardo da Vinci: Machines in Motion” exhibit.
