Lenox superintendent hired as new Muddy Brook Regional Elementary School principal

Muddy Brook Regional Elementary School has hired Timothy Lee, currently the superintendent of the Lenox Public Schools, to replace departing principal Mary Berle.

Mae Ellen Brown, 101, of Housatonic, beloved home economics teacher in Lenox

After earning her master’s degree in home economics from Simmons College in Boston in 1952, Mae moved to Lenox where she began her 22-year career as a home economics teacher, retiring from the Lenox School District in 1974.
