This is Jonathan Epstein's moment of glory, and he deserves every kudo he is getting from this writer right now. The work is risky and the result is wonderful.
Epstein is good at telling a dramatic story well. However, he forgets that the plays of Shakespeare are not about the stories alone but about the inner truths discovered by the characters.
It's a great play. Filled with action and philosophy this theatrical expression of a man's difficulties, regrets and resolutions is wildly entertaining
Having the farmers market on Shakespeare & Company’s grounds is quite different from the more typical environment of parking lots. The theatre’s actors often perform Shakespearean sketches on picnic tables.
