The shape and formatting of Teasdale’s poetry tends to be classic and charmingly unsophisticated. But the subject matter is ever romantic and offers a woman’s perspective on life and love.
Among the ideas being explored are consolidations of neighboring districts where appropriate, and even the creation of much larger “super regions” that would merge the county’s districts down from the current 19 to three or less.
IN his letter to the editor, Patrick Fennell writes: "RAAC [Regional Agreement Amendment Committee] is just a waste of time and will not solve the real issues with the BHRSD or countywide."
At the last discussion, in which some parties were demonstrably rancorous, it became clear that changing an agreement that has each town paying for schools based on the number of students it sends was not going to be easy.
In her letter to the editor, Susan Bachelder of Egremont writes: “It is up to the Towns to re-establish that legal premise and assert its rights to determine the course of education in their respective Towns.”
